Digitally Minimizing

Oh, 2021 is going to bring some growth + good energy. I'm already experiencing it with the launch of my new business!

And part of that goodness continuing for me is digitally minimizing. Focusing in a smaller area.

I already "quit" Twitter a loooong time ago, so really most of my social media time was divided between Instagram & Facebook. But I'm narrowing that down further.

I've decided to focus on Facebook where I have my sweet, growing community, and here.

And my newsletter!

I want my screen time to be more intentional.

I want to connect with people again without mindlessly scrolling.

So I went through and I subscribed to blogs + newsletters of my favorite IGers who don't have a Facebook. I left a message telling people to join my newsletter.

And I do *love* that on my blog and newsletter I don't feel like I'm signing my content away. It belongs to me.

With that being said, I'll be moving my blog over to a different platform soon so it runs better & has more fun features!

I'll be sharing all kinds of different stuff here, and I hope you'll want to be a part of it.

Back to some slower, genuine connection instead of rushing through, update to update, morning to night.

Sitting with a warm drink and reading someone's personal newsletter, coming back to it if I need to help my kids for a minute, instead of quickly clicking through their latest story that will disappear if I pause too long.

I don't know how long it'll last, but I'm so ready to see what happens.
